NAD+ IV Therapy in Portland, OR

The Apex · Our flagship longevity infusion

Every cell in your body runs on a molecule most people have never heard of. NAD+ fuels cellular energy production and DNA repair — and its decline with age has become one of the most studied targets in longevity science.

NAD+ — nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide — is a coenzyme found in every living cell, essential to converting nutrients into cellular energy, repairing DNA, and regulating the processes associated with aging. Research shows NAD+ levels fall significantly as we age, and the decline is accelerated by chronic stress, poor sleep, alcohol, and metabolic strain.

NAD+ IV therapy delivers the coenzyme directly into your bloodstream. At Oregon Medical & Laser, The Apex is our flagship longevity infusion — a slower, deliberately supervised drip for patients focused on healthy aging, cognitive clarity, and sustained energy.

What NAD+ does — and why it declines

NAD+ sits at the center of cellular metabolism. Your mitochondria use it to produce ATP — the energy currency of every cell — and it fuels sirtuins and PARP enzymes, proteins involved in DNA repair and cellular resilience.

The challenge: NAD+ availability falls with age, and lower levels are associated in research with fatigue, slower recovery, and many hallmarks of cellular aging. Oral precursors like NR and NMN exist, but they face the same absorption limits as any supplement. IV administration delivers NAD+ directly into circulation.

NAD+ research is promising and active, but much of it is still emerging — particularly long-term human trials. We'll tell you what the science supports, what remains under study, and what patients in our practice actually report. That's what physician-led means.

Why patients choose The Apex

Healthy aging & longevity

Supporting the cellular machinery that declines with age — the reason NAD+ anchors our longevity offerings.

Cognitive clarity

Many patients report improved mental sharpness and less brain fog in the days after an infusion.

Sustained energy

Support for mitochondrial energy production at the source — a deeper lever than a vitamin drip.

Recovery & resilience

Athletes and high-performers use NAD+ through heavy training blocks and demanding professional stretches.

Deeper goals deserve a deeper work-up. If weight, metabolic health, or hormones are part of your picture, NAD+ slots into our physician-led metabolic practice rather than standing alone as a wellness purchase. Medical weight management →

The infusion experience — slower on purpose

NAD+ is different from other drips, and it's worth knowing that up front.

It's a slower infusion — typically 90 minutes to 2 hours depending on your dose. Infused too quickly, NAD+ causes temporary discomfort (flushing, chest tightness, queasiness), so we titrate the drip rate to your comfort. Bring a laptop, a book, or headphones.

Screening comes first, as with every OML infusion: your health history and medications are reviewed under physician oversight before your first session. And NAD+ works as a protocol, not a one-off — a single infusion is a reasonable introduction, but it's most commonly delivered as a loading series over one to two weeks, followed by monthly maintenance designed at your consultation.

Is NAD+ IV therapy safe?

Administered slowly under clinical supervision, NAD+ infusions are well tolerated. The most common effects — flushing, mild chest pressure, or queasiness — occur when the infusion runs too fast, and they resolve when the rate is slowed. That's exactly why NAD+ belongs in a clinical setting with trained staff monitoring your infusion, not a drip lounge running on volume.

Longevity isn't a drip — it's a practice. But if you're going to invest in NAD+ therapy, do it where the dose, the rate, and the protocol are managed as medicine.

Common questions

How long does an NAD+ infusion take?
Plan for 90 minutes to 2 hours. The slow rate is intentional — it's what keeps the experience comfortable.
How many sessions do I need?
Most patients begin with a short loading series — several infusions over one to two weeks — then move to monthly maintenance. Your protocol is set at your consultation based on your goals and response.
What does NAD+ therapy feel like?
At the proper rate, most patients feel little during the infusion. Afterward, patients commonly report clearer thinking and steadier energy over the following days.
NAD+ IV vs. oral NMN or NR supplements — which is better?
They're different tools. Oral precursors are convenient for daily maintenance; IV delivery achieves direct circulating availability that oral dosing can't match. Many patients use both.
How much does NAD+ IV therapy cost in Portland?
NAD+ is our premium infusion, priced by dose — current pricing and series options are on our booking site. If you're new to IV therapy and want to try the chair first, our launch offer prices a first Foundation hydration drip at $75 (regularly $199).
Can I combine NAD+ with other drips or add-ons?
Often, yes — vitamin add-ons can be discussed at your screening, and we'll tell you plainly when a combination doesn't make clinical sense.
